I make it a point to know the coupon policies of the stores I frequent. It really just helps me save a lot of time and headaches. If you're going to shop the way I do, I suggest you do the same. I keep a hard copy of these policies on me when I am shopping. It really has helped me get through some tense situations at the register. Copied below are links to coupon policies for all the stores I frequent. If the store has no official coupon policy on their website, then I have given you what I know. Hope this helps y'all! Peace, B.

TARGET- I most often have to refer to this coupon policy in the store. I don't know why, but it seems like most Target cashiers don't understand the store's coupon policy. Go figure.

DOLLAR GENERAL- No one ever knows the coupon policy at Dollar General.

WALGREENS- I've only had to use this a few times, friends. It seems like the cashiers either know the policy very well or don't care.

CVS- CVS always has their coupon policy behind the register in a 3 ring binder. This is where they keep updates from corporate office as well. I love this about CVS!
CVS accepts manufacturer coupons, but they do not double coupons. They will stack manufacturer coupons with store coupons. They will NOT accept competitior coupons. CVS will accept internet coupons, but not for anything FREE. CVS was talking about implementing a one internet coupon policy (one per item per per person per day), but I haven't heard anything else about that.
PUBLIX- Publix recently made some changes to their coupon policy. It made for some really funny moments.

KROGER- Without a doubt, the worst customer service of all three grocery stores I frequent. I think it must be some breakdown in communication between the cashiers and management. I dunno. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Publix. Make sure you have this policy with you. You'll need it.
Kroger's coupon policy differs with each region. After a particularly bad shopping trip there, I asked the manager of the Kroger on Hwy. 278 to just tell me what the policy is so I could pass that info on to y'all (& know it myself). As best I can tell, here it is for our local stores: Kroger doubles manufaturer coupons up to 50 cents.
They do accept internet coupons, but it is at the manager's discretion. They don't accept internet coupons that state you get a FREE product. They do stack. They do NOT accept competititor's coupons anymore.
If you are local and can add anything to this policy, please let me know!

INGLES
- Ingles coupon poilcy gets to complicated, I just want to avoid them altogether. Isn't that a shame? I only go into Ingles when it is a triple coupon event or a super mega awesome fabulous sale.
Our Coupon (double/triple) Policy is:
Three (3) coupons doubled with each $10 order.
Six (6) with each $20 order
Nine (9) with each $30 order
Twelve (12) with each $40 order
Fifteen (15) with each $50 order...etc.
You must have the Ingles Advantage card to double coupons. Coupons of 50¢ or less will be doubled/tripled, except on tobacco products, alcoholic beverages, coffee, free items, or Ingles coupons. Double value cannot exceed the price of the item. Double savings start with each ten dollar purchase. No more than two identical items are eligible for double savings.
