In anticipation of our "big" snow coming Sunday and Monday, here's a simple recipe for snow ice cream. I lived in Pennslyvania one winter and the first snow fall was over a foot deep! (This was insanity to a girl raised in coastal Alabama.) My neighbors treated me to some snow ice cream and it was just the easiest, most yummy delicious treat EVER. I don't know if we'll get enough snow to make this recipe, but I sure hope we do! YUMMY!
Peace, B.
This recipe contains raw eggs which may be hazardous for pregnant women and young children to consume.
Gather 16 cups of clean snow. In a large bowl mix together one 12 ounce can evaporated milk, 2 eggs, and 1 and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Slowly add snow while stirring until the mix is nice and smooth. Eat at once! I really like mine plain, but you could add chocolate syrup, berries, sprinkles, whatever you like to your snow ice cream! Easy peasy, right, friends?
