Mix one devil's food chocolate cake mix, 1 (3.9 ounce) instant chocolate pudding mix, 1 cup sour cream, 1 cup whole milk, and 4 large eggs together in a mixing bowl on low speed until all ingredients are wet. Mix on medium high another two to three minutes until batter is well blended. Batter will be super thick! Spoon into paper lined muffin pans. Fill to the top for big old cupcakes! Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. (watch your time!)

Let cool.

For frosting, mix together 4 tablespoons crisco, 3 cups powdered sugar, 3/4 cups unsweetened cocoa, and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add whole milk sparingly as you mix on medium speed with hand mixer. Just eyeball it to get the right consistency.

Frost those cupcakes and serve 'em on up!
