Prepare bowtie pasta according to package directions.

Meanwhile, cut hot Italian sausage links into bite size pieces (be sure to remove the casing). Toss in a frying pan on medium heat. Thinly slice two medium sweet red peppers and one small onion. Add to the pan and cook until sausage is no longer pink. Drain off fat. Add 1/2 cup beef broth and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes. Toss with pasta.

Serve with spinach salad and garlic bread. Be sure to have plenty of grated Parmesan cheese on hand to take the heat off that spicy sausage!

Made this last night for the Hallmans and they ate it up! Quick and simple and cost $1.51 per person. (that includes the spinach salad and homemade garlic bread!)
